Remove duplicate lines
Keeps only unique lines in a list — emails, SKUs, keywords, links, anything.
Runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our server.
About this tool
Lists merged from several sources almost always contain repeats. The tool compares lines, keeps the first occurrence of each and tells you how many were removed.
You can ignore case (Apple and apple are the same), ignore spaces at the ends of lines, drop empty lines and sort the result alphabetically using your language’s rules.
How to use
- Paste your list, one item per line.
- Set the options: order, case, empty lines and spaces.
- Click “Remove duplicates” and copy the result.
Examples
apple pear Apple apple
apple pear Apple (case-sensitive)
b a b c
a b c (original order off)
Frequently asked questions
Which of the duplicates is kept?
The first one. When case is ignored, the spelling of the first occurrence is kept.
Can it handle a long list?
Yes, tens of thousands of lines are processed instantly, right in your browser.
How does sorting work?
With “Keep original order” off, lines are sorted alphabetically for the current language and numbers inside lines compare as numbers, so item2 comes before item10.
