Text case converter
Switches text to upper or lower case, or capitalises the first letter of each word or sentence.

About this tool
A common situation: text typed with Caps Lock on, or copied IN CAPITALS from an old spreadsheet. The converter fixes it in one click and keeps line breaks and punctuation.
Sentence case lowercases everything except the first letter of each sentence. It will lowercase proper names too, so check those by hand. Title Case capitalises every word; it does not apply style-guide rules for short words like “of” or “the”.
How to use
- Paste your text.
- Choose the case — the result appears immediately.
- Copy the result with the “Copy” button.
Examples
hELLO, wORLD
Hello, World (Title Case)

Frequently asked questions
Does it support non-Latin alphabets?
Yes. Conversion follows the page language’s rules, so Cyrillic, umlauts, “ß” and accented letters work correctly.
Why did names become lowercase?
Lowercase and Sentence case cannot tell which words are proper names. Fix those by hand after converting.
Are line breaks preserved?
Yes, only the letters change; the structure of the text stays the same.
