About this tool
Age is calculated on the calendar, not by dividing days by 365, so different month lengths and leap years are handled. You can calculate age on any date, not just today — for example, on an application deadline.
For people born on 29 February, the birthday falls on 28 February in common years. The calculation uses calendar dates and ignores time of day and time zones.
